Adult Ally Training: How to Engage With Youth on Boards/Commissions

A training from Tuesday Nov. 1st, 2011 at the Board of Supervisors Chambers 400 County Center in Redwood City held by StarVista’s Youth Development Initiative – San Mateo County Youth Commission Program Coordinator Seren Pendleton-Knoll.
The training opens with remarks from Supervisor Carole Groom, goes over various approaches to working with youth, common issues that arise with youth on Boards and Commissions, and closes with words from First 5 Staff member and Adult Ally Emily Roberts and the Youth Commissioners Jackie Cortez and Sylvia Chen.
